Healthy Eating at City Eats

The program Dine On Campus, by Sodexo and University Housing, aims to provide local, organic, hormone free, vegetarian and vegan food options at the Dining Center as well as for catered campus events.

Composting in Housing 

Each residence hall provides composting in one central location on the first floor and in all community restrooms. University Park North and University Park South have compost collection in carports. Use our Recycling Guide

Sol Patch Vegetable Garden

Eco Students and the Housing Grounds team maintain the Sol Patch Garden behind Mary Park Hall. The host work parties on most Mondays and Fridays. Check the Eco Students Facebook page for updates

Sustainable Move-Out

SF State's Residential Life department and Housing Department make sure that unwanted items are donated to Goodwill and local food banks or recycled properly.
